Attendees will learn basic Elements of Dance that can be incorporated into the teachers’ daily routines. Attendees also are going to acquire and practice dance routines that can be used during transitions and breaks in their classroom. These songs and dances can be used with ELL students to practice English. Teachers that join this class will learn some creative movements that can be used to bring students’ energy back in the middle of the day. If time permits teachers that will attend the class will learn some basics steps to teach a Mexican traditional dance.
